Understanding money is power. To know what will bring what and how much. And how to make more and more out of it. A sense of control over a life that gives certain peace. Food will not be missing. Not even clothes. Not even pleasures. And only in the bathtub, money does not smell. Maybe of a good soap. But no more than that. And it has no meaning. Perhaps of an especially soft towel. But no more than that.
